The gleeful Springing here in the Heartland, wrought thru with lightning strikes & thunder speech in dusky clouds expanding, is Earth exulting & Spirit flushing.
We stand now again, & once again, in the dark Moon time - now in the lusty month of May - on our way toward Ascension Thursday - a full lunar cycle forward from our Eclipse Convergence star speaking.
The conversation, of course continues, now with Mercury direct, & in conjunction with Chiron ‘The Wounded Healer’ – And the Eta Aquariid meteor showers peaking!
The parent comet of the Eta Aquariid meteor shower is the famous Halley’s Comet –
You may have heard about Chiron, whose symbol is a key - unlocking the karmic gifts that we develop while transforming the pain of suffering into a healing wisdom, so that we can in turn, heal others.
Chiron was originally classified as an asteroid - but these days Chiron the Centaur has been leveled up to a dwarf planet, like its karmic pal Pluto - while simultaneously being categorized as a comet. But whatever Chiron’s planetary pedigree, understanding its influence can prove medicinal.
From an article by Dr Elizabeth Vreede: A Comet represents an element that does not wholly enter the usual sphere of cosmic law…They are agents of a very special nature in our planetary system…the comets may be spoken of as constant purifiers of the spiritual atmosphere within the solar system. They are thought of as the “scavengers of God.” To the eye of Spirit, the mission of the comets is perpetually to expel impure astral forces from the Cosmos or to introduce new impulses.
Chiron orbits between two intensely oppositional planets: strict Saturn the planet of initiation, & liberated, revolutionary Uranus. Like a metaphysical mediator, Chiron can help us synthesize the energy of both planets.
Where do you hold yourself back (Saturn) & where can you be destructively rebellious (Uranus)? We must understand both extremes in order to find the middle ground.
According to Greek mythology, Chiron was a healer, philosopher & teacher who, ironically, could not heal himself. Chiron reveals our core wound – which is also our secret power!
As we grapple with pain, we gain wisdom to pass on to others like a magical salve. That Chiron “key” can open up a portal to deep, inner healing.
“A jubilant breath pervades the atmosphere of Easter-tide, expressing itself twice, as with inward necessity, in the word “rejoice”…First, the breathing soul-sphere of the whole planet rejoices, that renewed cosmic sphere of sunlit clouds, air and wind into which the earth grows in Spring; then, the inward life of the human being, touched by the Risen Christ, rejoices too. We recognize the wide span of the soul at Easter: it comprises the outward and the inward world, macrocosm and microcosm.” ~“The Three Years” by Emil Bock.

RUDOLF STEINER'S CALENDAR OF THE SOUL
translated (with added titles) by Roy Sadler
ASCENSION
The Risen Self
v6
Arisen from my own persona
my real self appears
as revelation of the spheres
that in the powers of time and space
the world is showing me as paradigm,
God's archetype that everywhere portrays
the image in whose mirror I come true.
“To truly know the world, look deeply within your own being;
to truly know yourself, take real interest in the world.”
from "Verses and Meditations" by Rudolf Steiner.
Yesterday I enjoyed God's archetype helping me to ascend as I, alongside hundreds of others, did the bank holiday 22 mile Bridgnorth charity walk to the highest Shropshire hill, Brown Clee, and up and down many slopes back to the town. I was part of a group of five raising sponsorship money for the Christian Community, each of us originally from a different country: Luca from Italy, a eurythmy student in Stourbridge here in the English West Midlands (15 miles from Bridgnorth); Angela from Hong Kong, a teacher in our local Waldorf school; Bernardus from Holland, an experienced Waldorf teacher who has just been in Hong Kong for a month training potential teachers there; Paul, the South African organiser of our team, an avid walker who completed the journey ahead of us; and myself, part everywhere of the Spring beauty of my native Shropshire countryside, from new flowers to the misty glow of distant hills. Paul will be 78 in June and I will be 80 next Sunday.
